Bring your critical care experience to our specialised teams here at the University College London Hospital Trust, and we’ll bring your ambitions to life.
Our Critical Care Unit looks after every level of patient in four specialist teams. So you can join us in any of the following areas:
-General critical care
-Cardiology
-Neurology
-Neo Natal
Not only is this specialised approach better for our patients – enabling us to deliver unparalleled standards of care – it’s also better for you, allowing you to work with unique patients, in a ward that’s completely dedicated to your specialism.
Our training and research opportunities are just as impressive. Having worked in Critical care, there are certain skills you’ll have already, including at least nine months post-preceptorship experience. But we’ll offer you so much more. For example, receive an internal recommendation at Band 5, and you could soon start studying for the Critical Care Course – BSc (hons) Professional Nursing Practice. Whatever your level you’ll also benefit from our department’s designated Education Team. Providing bedside support and written reports on your performance, they’ll give you the structure and guidance you need to progress even further.
Situated in the heart of London, we’re one of the largest Foundation Trusts in the country. With an international reputation and tradition for innovation, we’re committed to delivering top quality patient care, excellent education and world class research. Click here to be part of it.
