Practice Nurse
We are currently looking for a Practice Nurse to join our team.
The post holder will work as a member of the Primary Care Team within a General Practitioner Practice undertaking care of patients within the practice population of 2500.
Key duties include providing nursing services to patients of the practice within the professional competence of the post holder, including chronic disease management, cervical smears, family planning and travel management.
The postholder will also be responsible for providing nursing treatments for minor injuries, minor infections,management of dressings,spirometry, treatment of leg ulcers ECGs etc.
Other key duties include performing necessary screening and preventative interventions at all opportunities to improve the health and well being of the practice populations.
